The conference hotel is the Westin Crown Center, 1 E Pershing Rd, Kansas City, MO 64108; 1-816-474-4400. AAHM Room rate is $179 plus taxes. The cut-off for reservations at this rate is 5 pm EDT April 8, 2024. Book your group rate for American Association for the History of Medicine. If you need to make a reservation before May 8 or after May 12, you will need to call for reservations to obtain a room and the AAHM rate: 1 (888) 236-2427. Onsite parking is available at $35 valet and $25 self-parking per day.

Kansas City is served by most major airlines. The Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is a newly opened facility and is 22 miles from the Westin. Amtrak also provide service to Kansas City with arrivals at the historic Union Station just a four-minute walk from the Westin. Ground transportation options include taxis, Uber, Lift, as well as a SuperShuttle.
