You are cordially invited to the New Social History of Pharmacy & Pharmaceuticals Festival co-hosted by the George Urdang Chair in the History of Pharmacy Lucas Richert and the American Institute of the History of Pharmacy.
This free, online conference will take place September 24-29 and feature 11 panels, 4 book talks, 3 invited Festival talks, 1 publishing roundtable discussion, and 1 early career roundtable conversation. The Festival will explore the many dimensions of the social history of pharmacy and pharmaceuticals through an exciting array of contributed paper panels, book talks, and invited Festival talks. The Festival’s aim is to stimulate new scholarship and discussion, connect scholars and researchers from around the world, and place a spotlight on emerging trends in the studies of pharmaceuticals, drugs, and alcohol more broadly.
